This is a picture of my 1980 3/4 chevy truck. I bought it from a friend of mine from work for $900. It has a Dana 44 in the front and a 14 bolt in the rear and 410 gears. It has a four speed transmition and a 350 under the hood. It had 29inch tires when I bought it and needed some front end work. So the work began. |
First thing I did was fix the front end. As you can see I painted it primer gray. About $30 worth of spray primer. |
Then I bought a procomp 4in suspension lift for $350. I put the lift on at my house it wasn't that hard to do. The hardest part was breaking the bolts loose and putting on the drop bracket for the steering. |
Then I put a 3in body lift on from 4wheelpartswholesalers. I bought it for $70, not to bad of a price. Looks pretty dumb with no tires. Plans for 38in Super Swampers. |
Three months later I had my tires and rims. Total of both $800. But I still need a couple more things. |
